The Alma collection is based on a reinterpretation of the expressive and geometric universe of the Portuguese painter Amadeo de Souza-Cardoso. Inspired by their vibrant compositions and the contrasts between shapes, the pieces explore the combination of circular and rectangular elements in a simple and direct language. - Available for licensing
The chair and armchair are the result of combining traditional wood bending and cutting techniques, with a focus on reducing to the essential. The structure features sharp edges that contrast with the cylindrical backrest and armrests, the backrest being formed from a single piece of steam-bent wood.
The connection point between the circular backrest and the rectangular legs visually defines the collection and reinforces its character.
Material & Finishes
The pieces are available in oak or walnut. The seat and backrest are fully upholstered.
