Portuguese designer David Amaral (b. 1999) is driven by a desire to create objects that quietly enrich everyday life through form, function, and feeling. With a degree in Industrial Design and a Master’s in Product Design from ESAD.CR, his work moves fluidly between furniture, utilitarian objects, and pieces of artistic expression — all guided by a subtle yet intentional design language.

Balancing clarity with emotional depth, Amaral approaches design as a way to foster empathy between people and the objects that surround them. His process reflects a curiosity for how things are made and how they are used, resulting in designs that are both intuitive and refined.
